Emanuel David Ginóbili was born in Bahía Blanca, as July 29th, 1977.
He loves playing basketball and his favorite basketball player is Michael Jorda.
Manu starts playing for Andino de la Rioja. Then, he plays for Estudiantes de Bahía Blanca for two seasons.
He spreads his talent and magic in Italy (Viola Reggio Calabria and Virtus Kinder Bologna).
In 1999 NBA San Antonio Spurs pick Manu to play in the NBA, but he continues playing in Italy. Later finally he signs a contract with San Antonio Spurs.
In 2002 he also played for the Argentina's National Team. And obtained the second place in Indianapolis.
In his first season he heads San Antonio Spurs to the NBA Championship. He also wins Olympics Gold Medal with Argentina National Team. And he obtains the Olimpia de Oro's Award.
He plays in the NBA's All Star Game.
In his daily life he speaks English and Italian very well. And loves Argentinian Rock Bands.
He spends a lot of surfing on the net.

- I was born in 1987, on 24th june in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina.
- When did you start playing football?
- I was 6 when I started to play.
- How many tournaments did you win?
- I won 4 Spanish Tournament with Barcelona, 4 Spanish Supercopa, and 1 Copa del Rey. And I won 2 UEFA Champins League, 1 UEFA Super Cup, and 1 FIFA Club World Cup. And with the Argentinian National Team I won a FIFA U-20 World Cup and a Olimpic Gold Medal.
- Do you have any special way to score?
- I dribble really fast, and when I'm close to the score, pass the ball and run to resive again then I'm lucky score!
- Where did you learn how to play football?
- My father taught me.
Where are you going to spend christmas?
- I'm going spend it in Rosario, with my family.
